That’s why we invite you to the premiere of the multi-disciplinary evening DISTORTION, where the rising generation of dance creators, led by DEKKADANCERS, explores through movement just how distorted the reality around us really is.

Three different choreographies and three perspectives on the world await you:

✺ PARALLAX (choreography by Alice Silná)

Edgar Allan Poe in the digital age. The Raven motif blended with how much reality changes depending on who is looking. Additionally, photographs are created in real time during the performance and immediately enter the action as fragments of images.

✺ 눈빛 Nun-bit (choreography by Eliška Nevoralová)

An intense exchange of glances as the most sincere form of communication. On stage, you’ll see a nameless crowd, yet each person carries their own complex story. Glances meet and pass by, conveying things that words simply cannot express.

✺ Over the Rainbow (choreography by İpek Özgen)

How ordinary, everyday gestures of care transform over time, taking on new meanings and losing their original function. What seemed completely familiar to you suddenly becomes something entirely different.
