Josef K. – album launch S65
An album from the train? Josef K.'s closely watched tracks are intertwined with both Prague and rap.
Images of the city, the moods of people on public transport, psychological observations from life in an alienated world. All this is hidden in the mosaic of the new album S65 by the mysterious rapper Josef K.
"The album S65 was created while traveling around Prague and beyond. From the beat to the lyrics to the demo, it was created in the open air – on a cell phone and laptop. The second solo album loosely follows on from Linka B (2020) in terms of the circumstances of its creation, but in a different context: this time on the surface, not beneath it," says rapper Josef K.
The new album S65 is named after the iconic suburban train line, also known as the Prague Semmering, which runs from Smíchov in Prague to Hostivice.
