A+U:
DRAG WORKSHOP

workshop Coming soon
Three queer communities have joined forces to prepare a Drag workshop. The program is intended for anyone interested in drag and queer art (e.g., future performers, MUAs, playwrights, etc.), as well as those who simply want to try drag and enjoy the creative process together.

The workshop is divided into two parts:

  1. DRAG PERSONA / CHARACTER

The workshop focuses on creating drag personas, exploring different variations and characters, and how to use them both on stage and on social media. The workshop will be led by Martin "Venice" Talaga, founder of the PINKBUS Platform.

   2. MAKE-UP & LIP SYNC

The workshop focuses on creating drag personas, exploring different variations and characters, and how to use them both on stage and on social media. The workshop will be led by Martin "Venice" Talaga, founder of the PINKBUS Platform.

Participants will go through the complete drag make-up process – from covering their eyebrows to contouring to the final "stage-ready" look. This will be followed by a lip sync class. This part will be led by Scott "TONIC" Tait, founder of House of Garbage, which produces the now legendary drag show Queeriety.

Finally, there will be a public presentation at the ARCHA+ café, where participants will be able to try out the stage and put their newly acquired skills into practice.
