Adina Šulcová: 50 demons²

A haunted family home. But what if it's not demons that are causing the terror, but the family itself?

I don't believe in ghosts, I believe in family dinners.

A mother who is terrified of sleeping alone, but even more so of the possibility of a U-Haul. A father capable of lightening even an exorcism if he can make a sexist joke about it. An emo son who admires Foucault, benzodiazepines, and ultimately kajda. A daughter who turns her family's breakdown into a school report (grammar: bad, trauma: excellent, nose: unforgettable).

50 Square Demons is a parody of horror movies and sitcoms. At the same time, it is a campy conversational comedy focusing on the story of a family that calls on a medium for help instead of therapy. And yes, the house is really haunted. But admitting to a ghost is easier than facing your demons. And haunting is always more comfortable than leaving.

If you listen closely, you might hear the wood working. Knock, knock, knock. Ihááááá.

In addition to standard tickets, you’ll also find tickets in the “I Support ARCHU+” category, priced at 750 CZK, 1,000 CZK, or 2,000 CZK. These are for those who are able and willing to help us take our venue a step further at this time. The cultural sector isn’t having the easiest time right now, and every bit of support like this is a huge motivator for us. At the same time, though, we know that not everyone can afford it. What matters most to us is that we all get to come together here.
