Giant Rooks

Melancholy now, euphoria in a moment. The albums *Rookery* and *How Have You Been?* turned Giant Rooks into indie-pop stars—a band that knows how to move us. The sensitive German quintet is now releasing the album *If Heaven Exists, This Might Be It* and will be coming to perform it here as well.

“Do you wanna live forever?” they ask, and the answer is: “’Cause I can show you how, A place closer to heaven, Let me take you out of town.” It’s time to come down from the cloud Giant Rooks arrived on six years ago. Because heaven is right here, within reach. Love and friendship must be nurtured.

The album *If Heaven Exists, This Might Be It* revolves around longed-for relationships shaped by a world full of alienation and conflict. But hand in hand with loneliness walks hope, and alongside loss goes dreaming. The band recorded the album with a strong focus on analog equipment, because that’s where they saw the potential to achieve a truly authentic sound. The world of unlimited digital possibilities may be great, but it also hides many dangers—and complacency is one of them.

Tickets (850 CZK) will go on sale on October 9 at fource.cz and on the GoOut and Ticketmaster platforms.
