How Not to Let Yourself Be Taken Advantage of in a Lease
Renting in the Czech Republic isn’t easy. Not only because of the ever-worsening housing crisis and rising rent prices, but also because of landlords’ relentless desire to enrich themselves at the expense of tenants. Failure to return security deposits, failure to provide utility bills, or constant harassment. These are just some of the problems the Tenants’ Initiative helps tenants fight against. Saša and Vojtěch, members of the Initiative, will guide you through a lecture where you’ll learn about the most common unfair practices by landlords and see how to defend yourself against them.
The Third Space program brings all areas of ARCHA+ to life, except for the Large Hall. The name itself is based on the sociological concept of third places, which describes spaces between home, school, or work where people meet and spend their free time. More information can be found here.
